3 Injured in 10-Vehicle Crash on Interstate Highway 45 in Corsicana

3 Injured in Corsicana Car Accident on Interstate Highway 45

Corsicana, Texas (June 22, 2018) – Three people were injured in Corsicana Wednesday afternoon, according to a local news source.
The crash was reported at about 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, June 20 on Interstate Highway 45 about a half mile south of the Business 45 overpass.
As per the report, the collision involved four commercial motor vehicles, two sport utility vehicles, one car, one van, and two trucks, one of which was hauling a flatbed trailer loaded with plastic culverts.
According to the DPS, two patients were taken to Navarro Regional Hospital while one patient was transported to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and was in stable condition.
The northbound side of I-45 was shut down for hours during the investigation. Motorists were diverted around the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
