New Fairview, Texas (June 19, 2018) – Three children and two adults were injured in a crash involving multiple vehicles on Thursday morning in New Fairview, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The wreck took place on Thursday, June 14 on U.S. Highway 287.
DPS said Joshua Gomez, 27, was driving a Ford when he was rear-ended by a pickup truck driven by Tyler Raby, 21.
The impact caused the Ford to travel into the path of oncoming vehicles, where it collided with an SUV driven by Daisy Gonzalez, 27.
Gomez, Gonzalez and three children in her SUV were all taken to local hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Raby was cited for failure to control speed and driving without a license.

We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies.  While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
