Drivers Injured in San Angelo Crash at La Follette Street and Smith Boulevard

San Angelo, Texas (May 31, 2018) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in San Angelo on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
The crash happened at the intersection of La Follette Street and Smith Boulevard at around noon on Wednesday, May 30.
Police said the driver of a silver Buick ran a stop sign at the intersection and was T-boned by a maroon-colored Ford Mustang that was heading westbound on La Follette Street.
Both drivers were transported to Shannon Medical Center with unknown injuries.
The drivers were the sole occupants of their vehicles at the time of the wreck.
Police said the driver of the Buick was cited for failing to stop for a stop sign.
