Man Killed and Two Children Injured in East Austin Crash on FM 969

Austin, Texas (May 26, 2018) – A man was killed in a fatal two-vehicle crash that sent two children to a hospital on Saturday morning in East Austin, according to the Austin Fire Department.
The collision was reported shortly after 10 a.m. in the 7600 block of FM 969.
Austin police said two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
The Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the incident and said one person was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was only identified as a man in his 20s.
Two children were among four people transported to a hospital after the crash. One of the patients was said to be in critical condition.
The Austin Police Department is investigating the crash.
