Brazos County, Texas (May 24, 2018) – Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in south Brazos County Tuesday afternoon, according to Texas Department of Public Safety.
The accident happened on Tuesday, May 22 on Highway 6 near Texas World Speedway.
As per the DPS officials, an SUV hydroplaned and crashed into a concrete barrier. Other vehicles were slowing down, but the driver of a garbage truck did not slow.
The garbage truck then rear-ended a car, and the car crashed into the rear of a semi-trailer.
As a result of the impact, the garbage truck overturned.
The drivers of the garbage truck, the car and the SUV were transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

The information for this blog post was obtained from public media and is for informational purposes.  No attorney-client relationship is established unless the law firm is formally retained. We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies.  While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
