Two People Injured in San Angelo Crash on Bell Street

San Angelo, Texas (May 24, 2018) – Two people were injured in a wrong-way accident in San Angelo Wednesday afternoon.
The collision happened on Wednesday, May 23 along the 2700 block of North Bell Street.
According to authorities, a Mitsubishi Gallant was heading southbound in the northbound lane of Bell Street when rounding a corner, it crossed paths with an oncoming GMC Yukon, resulting in a head-on collision.
Two occupants of the GMC, one of which was a child, were transported to a local hospital in stable conditions. The driver of the Mitsubishi was cited for driving left of center.
No further information regarding the crash was immediately provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
