1 Killed, 2 Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash at FM 1960 and Cypresswood Drive in Harris County
Harris County, Texas (May 20, 2018) – One person was killed and two others hospitalized after a three-vehicle crash at an intersection in northern Harris County late Saturday night.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the wreck happened at the intersection of FM 1960 and Cypresswood Drive on Saturday, May 19.
Deputies said a white pickup truck was traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on FM 1960 when the driver failed to stop for a red light and rear-ended a two-door Mitsubishi sitting at the intersection.
The impact of the crash caused the pickup to flip and crashed into a westbound SUV.
The driver of the Mitsubishi was killed in the crash.
The two occupants of the pickup, a man, and a woman, were both taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
There were no other injuries reported from the incident.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
We extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

The information for this blog post was obtained from public media and is for informational purposes. No attorney-client relationship is established unless the law firm is formally retained. We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies. While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
