Several Injured in Four-Car Crash on I-35 in Corsicana

Corsicana, Texas (May 16, 2018) – Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Corsicana, according to a police report.
The incident took place at around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, on Interstate 35 near mile marker 394.
According to the police, a semi-truck was being driven southbound in the right lanes when the driver failed to reduce speed and drove over to the center lane, hitting a white Chevrolet SUV that was sitting in the lane.
The impact of the collision caused the SUV to strike another semi-truck that was driven in front of the SUV. The second semi-truck also hit a third semi-truck, as per the report.
All occupants in the SUV were taken to a hospital in critical condition by air and ground ambulances.
Several southbound Interstate 35 lanes were shut following the incident but had since reopened.

The information for this blog post was obtained from public media and is for informational purposes.  No attorney-client relationship is established unless the law firm is formally retained. We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies.  While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
