Woman Killed after Chase, Crash on Katy Freeway at Blalock Road in Houston

1 Killed, 2 Injured in West Houston Car Accident on Katy Freeway and Blalock Road

Houston, Texas (May 7, 2018) – A woman was killed when a vehicle being pursued by police crashed into her vehicle at an intersection in west Houston on Sunday night, according to authorities.
The accident happened at around 9 p.m. May 6 at the intersection of Katy Freeway and Blalock Road.
Police said a vehicle pulled over by the police failed to stop and the driver fled.
The driver then ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into a blue sedan, driven by a woman. The impact caused the woman’s car to split in half.
The woman was killed in the crash.
The suspect vehicle crashed into a pole after the incident.
The two occupants of the suspect vehicle were transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
The authorities are investigating the crash.
