Injuries Sustains in Jefferson County Crash on Interstate 10

Jefferson County, Texas (May 4, 2018) – Injuries were sustained in a multi-car crash in Jefferson County Thursday evening, the Texas Department of Public Safety reported.
The crash happened at around 9:00 p.m. Thursday, May 4 on Interstate 10 near mile marker 836.
Several vehicles were involved in the crash. The cause of the collision was not yet established as at the time of the report.
According to DPS report, injuries were reported, but the extent of those injuries is unknown.
Motorists were diverted to use an alternate route.
No further information regarding the crash was immediately provided.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
