Driver Suffers Severe Injuries in North Austin Crash on I-35

North Austin, Texas (April 26, 2018) – A man was severely injured in a collision with a dump truck early Monday morning in North Austin, according to an Austin police.
The incident happened at around 12:04 Monday, in the 7400 block of I-35, near U.S. 183.
According to police, 30-year-old Elieser Samora was driving a dump truck when it collided with a Chevrolet Malibu driven by a 28-year-old man.
The man reportedly sustained severe brain damage while and was listed in critical condition while Samora got out of his truck without, jumped over the concrete wall on the curb and tried to run to a cluster of trees located in front of a state government building.
Samora was detained by the government building’s security officer and was booked into the Travis County Jail on Monday morning.
