Dallas, Texas (February 19, 2018) – One person was killed and another critically injured following a motorcycle collision Sunday morning in Dallas, police said.
The fatal wreck happened at around 4:30 a.m. Sunday, February 18, in the southbound lanes of North Central Expressway at Walnut Hill Lane.
Police said a car, driven by a 25-year-old driver ran out of gas when the driver got out of the vehicle. Shortly after, a motorcycle struck the back of the disabled car.
The impact threw the 34-year-old motorcyclist and his passenger off the bike, police said.
The rider was declared dead at the scene while his passenger sustained critical injuries and was taken to Presbyterian Hospital where the victim was placed in a medically induced coma.
An investigation into the crash is still ongoing.

The information for this blog post was obtained from public media and is for informational purposes.  No attorney-client relationship is established unless the law firm is formally retained. We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies.  While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
