Harris County, Texas (February 11, 2018) – A driver died and another person was injured in a collision involving two vehicles in Northwest Harris County Friday night, authorities said.
The fatal crash occurred around 8 p.m. Friday, February 9, along Telge Road in Northwest Harris County.
According to the police report, a white Dodge Ram was heading northbound on Telge Road and a silver Buick was heading westbound on Boudreaux Road. The Buick’s driver came to a stop at a stop sign before attempting to turn onto Telge while Dodge’s driver failed to yield the right of way at the stop sign and struck the Buick on driver’s side. Both vehicles ended up in a ditch.
The man driving the Buick succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The Dodge’s driver was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities said the driver of the Ram was driving while intoxicated at the time of the crash and was expected to be charged with intoxication manslaughter.

The information for this blog post was obtained from public media and is for informational purposes.  No attorney-client relationship is established unless the law firm is formally retained. We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies.  While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
