Eduardo Tovias Killed in North Harris County Two-Vehicle Crash at Bammel North Houston Road and Champion Forest Drive

Harris County, Texas (February 3, 2020) – The man who was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Sunday near Willowbrook in north Harris County, has been identified as Eduardo Tovias, according to the deputies.

The fatal crash happened around 7:45 p.m., February 2, at the intersection of Bammel North Houston Road and Champion Forest Drive.

Deputies said a gray pickup was making a left turn when it struck a black pickup truck, which had the right of way, head-on.

The driver of the black pickup truck, Tovias, was killed in the crash.

The driver of the gray truck, Jeffery Davis, 57, was heavily intoxicated at the time of the crash. He was taken to the hospital with neck injuries. He is facing a felony murder charge.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
