4 Injured in Pflugerville Crash at East Pfenning Lane and FM 685

Pflugerville, Texas (January 28, 2018) – Three Pflugerville Independent School District students were injured when the bus they were traveling in was struck by a pickup truck early Saturday morning in Pflugerville.
The accident took place on Saturday, January 27, at FM 685 and East Pfenning Lane in Pflugerville.
According to a police report, the pickup truck was driven southbound near the intersection of East Pfenning Lane and FM 685 when it attempted a left turn in front of the northbound bus, hitting the school bus.
Police said the bus was transporting 39 students from Hendrickson High School to Pflugerville High School for a regional band performance.
Three students and the driver of the truck suffered minor injuries and were all treated at the scene and released.
The driver of the truck was cited for failure to yield the right of the way.
