One Killed in Seguin Pedestrian Accident at N. Austin Street and New Braunfels Street

Seguin, Texas (October 2, 2019) – A man was struck and killed by a Union Pacific train Tuesday night in Seguin, according to a local news source.

The accident happened just before 10:00 p.m. on October 1, at the intersection of N. Austin Street and New Braunfels Street.

Police said the man was attempting to cross the railroad tracks at an unimproved crossing when he was struck by the train.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
