Buford Jones Injured in Crash with 18-Wheeler on Highway 87 in San Angelo
San Angelo, Texas (January 26, 2018) – A man was injured on Wednesday afternoon when his pickup truck collided with an 18-wheeler in San Angelo, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The accident happened at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, on U.S. Highway 87 near Grape Greek.
DPS said Buford Jones was driving a pickup truck northbound on Highway 87 when it was hit by an 18-wheeler truck, driven by Don Arthur, who was changing lanes along an overpass.
The impact caused Jones to lose control and the pickup truck rolled over.
Jones was ejected by the EMS crews, who took him to an area hospital in stable condition.
Arthur was cited for improper change of lane.
