6-Year-Old Seriously Injured in Robertson County 4-Wheeler Crash on FM 46

Robertson County, Texas (December 26, 2019) – A 6-year-old boy was seriously injured in a 4-wheeler crash on Christmas morning in Robertson County, according to a local news source.

The crash happened around 10:15 a.m. December 25, on FM 46 near Morgan Lane.

DPS said Katlyne Martinez, 18, of Franklin was driving a 2002 Ford Ranger southbound on FM 46 when the boy came out onto the roadway from a private drive in his 4-wheeler crash and was hit by the truck.

Martinez kept going until her truck became disabled a few miles south of the crash scene.

The boy was taken to a Houston hospital in serious condition.

Martinez was arrested for failure to stop and render aid with serious injuries and was booked into the Robertson County Jail.

The crash remains under investigation.
