Car Strikes Stalled Vehicle along I-20 in Arlington, Two Injured

Man and Woman Injured in Arlington Car Crash on Interstate 20

 Arlington, Texas (January 18, 2018) – A vehicle crashed into the back of a stalled vehicle injuring two people early Thursday morning in Arlington, according to police.
The crash happened shortly after midnight on Interstate 20 near Bowman Springs.
Police said a car broke down in the westbound lanes of I-20 and as a man was trying to push it to the side, a vehicle passing by crashed into the back of the stalled car.
The man was able to jump to safety before the car was struck and only suffered minor injuries.
A woman, who was inside the stalled car, was seriously injured. The two were taken to a hospital.
A woman driving the other car was unhurt.
There were no reports of arrests arising from the crash.
