Six Injured in Wise County Car Wreck on FM 2123

Wise County, Texas (January 16, 2018) – Six people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck on Saturday afternoon in Wise County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The accident took place at about 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13, near the intersection of FM 2123 and County Road 3579.
DPS said a car traveling on CR 3579 attempted to make a turn onto FM 2123 and collided with an SUV.
The driver of the SUV sustained serious injuries. That driver and a passenger in the other car were airlifted to a hospital.
Four other people in both vehicles were transported to a hospital by a ground ambulance.
It’s unclear whether there were charges in the crash, which remains under investigation.
