Driver Saved by Good Samaritan, Officer after Houston 3-Vehicle Crash on Tidwell Road

Houston, Texas (January 15, 2018) – A Good Samaritan and a police officer helped save a driver who was stuck inside a burning vehicle after a three-vehicle crash early Monday morning in North Houston.
The crash occurred at around 1 a.m. at the intersection of N. Shepherd Drive and Tidwell Road, according to Houston Police Department.
A driver traveling down North Shepherd Drive ran a red light at the intersection of Tidwell Road and rammed into two other cars.
One car caught fire after the crash, and a Houston Police officer helped to eject the driver. A citizen who was at the scene also assisted in the extrication.
The drivers of the three vehicles were rushed to a hospital, and one of them was said to be in critical condition.
No one else was hurt in the crash.
