Lorissa Quan and Hannah Quan Killed, 2 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Renfro Street in Burleson
Burleson, Texas (January 10, 2018) – A multi-vehicle accident killed a mother and her daughter on Sunday afternoon in Burleson, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The crash happened at around 5:45 p.m. Sunday, January 7, near the 2309 block of Renfro Street.
Lorissa Quan, 36, was driving a minivan southbound on Renfro Street and was stopped waiting to turn left into Cana Baptist Church when her minivan was rear-ended by a Ford F-150 pickup.
The impact pushed the minivan into the path of oncoming vehicles and was hit by a Ford Ranger truck, DPS said.
Lorissa and her daughter, Hannah Quan, 7, were pronounced dead at the scene. Her husband and a second daughter were rushed to John Peter Smith Hospital in critical condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
