Scott Furguson ID’d as Man Killed in Houston Motorcycle Crash on Jensen Drive

Houston, Texas (September 15, 2019) – The motorcyclist who was killed in a traffic collision involving a tow truck Saturday morning in northeast Houston has been identified as Scott Furguson, according to the medical examiner’s office.

The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. September 14, in the 6800 block of Jensen Drive.

Police said Furguson was riding a motorcycle when he failed to stop and crashed into a wrecker that was trying to pull a car from a ditch. The wrecker wasn’t moving and was in the north bound lane when it was hit by the motorcycle.

Furguson was declared dead at the scene.

Police said speed was a factor in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
