Juan Rene Sanchez-Sorola Killed, Three Seriously Injured in Eastland County Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20

Eastland County, Texas (September 13, 2019) – One person was killed and three others were seriously injured in a chain-reaction crash Wednesday night in Eastland County, a local news source reported.

The fatal crash happened around 9:00 p.m. September 11, on I-20.

DPS said Juan Rene Sanchez-Sorola, 27, of Mexico, was driving an 18-wheeler when he was involved in a chain reaction involving a pickup truck, another big rig and a car.

Sanchez-Sorola was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other big rig, the pickup driver and a passenger in the pickup were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The car driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
