Upshur County, Texas (December 20, 2017) – According to Texas Department of Public Safety, one person was killed and another injured following a collision involving two vehicles in Upshur County.
The deadly collision occurred at around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 19, on Texas State Highway about 3.8 miles south of the city of Gilmer in Upshur County.
A preliminary investigation report stated that 17-year-old Cherish Elaine Kelley, of Big Sandy, was driving a 2006 Toyota 4Runner north on Highway 155 and 31-year-old Jessica Leann Reed, of Lonestar was operating a 2002 Chevrolet tow truck south on Highway 155.
