Erik Estrada-Duran Killed in Glasscock County Crash on RM 33

Glasscock County, Texas (August 24, 2019) – A man was killed Thursday morning in a traffic accident in Glasscock County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash was reported around 5:21 a.m. August 22, on RM 33, about two miles north of Garden City.

Troopers said Erik Estrada-Duran, 37, of Del Rio, was standing next to his vehicle in the roadway when he was struck by a Chevrolet pickup.

Estrada-Duran was taken to Scenic Mountain Medical Center in Big Spring where he later died.

An investigation is underway.
