One Killed and One Critically Injured in Lubbock Crash

Lubbock, Texas (December 15, 2017) – According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, One person was killed and another one critically injured in Lubbock Crash.
The Crash took place at about 6:00 pm Wednesday, 13 December 2017 on FM 1585.
According to authorities, 30-year-old Eloy Arenas of Brown Field was the driver and the only occupant of the Ford passenger car involved in the head-on collision with a Kia passenger car.
Eloy was driving a Ford passenger car westbound and crossed into the path of Kia passenger car on the eastbound lane when the two vehicles crashed head-on.
Eloy was pronounced dead at the scene. The 18-year-old Kia driver, Samantha Cardenas was taken to UMC in critical condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
