Grand Prairie, Texas (December 15, 2017) – A 31-year-old man who lost control of his car was killed after causing a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 360 in Grand Prairie Wednesday night.
The accident occurred at about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, on SH 360 near Post and Paddock Street, police said.
According to police, Cole Taylor Robinson, 31, of Hurst, was driving a 2005 Toyota Corolla on the right lane of southbound SH 360 when he lost control of the vehicle, caused it to rotate and moved into the center lane.
A 2013 Nissan Rogue was traveling in the center lane and rammed into the driver’s side of the Toyota.
Emergency crews were called to the scene and were able to pull Robinson out of the wreckage. He was rushed to Methodist Dallas Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased shortly before 9:00 p.m., police said.
The driver of the Nissan, a Lancaster woman, 73, was taken to Medical City Arlington with non-life-threatening injuries.
A section of the highway was closed as investigators examined and cleared the scene.
