46-Year-Old Willie Lee Williams Jr Killed in San Benito Pedestrian Crash on Frontage Road near Stephanie Lane

San Benito, Texas (July 23, 2019) – A 46-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run accident early Sunday morning in San Benito, according to the authorities

The crash took place at about 12:40 a.m. Sunday, July 21, on Frontage Road near Stephanie Lane.

Police said the victim, identified as Willie Lee Williams Jr., 46, of San Benito, was found along the Frontage Road unresponsive.

Williams was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police said Williams’ injuries were consistent with being hit by a vehicle.

The vehicle suspected to be involved in the crash was a maroon passenger car, possibly a Nissan Sentra.

The San Benito Police Department is handling the investigation.
