Man Dies in Travis County Car Accident at FM 812 and FM 973

Travis County, Texas (July 15, 2019) – One man was killed in a crash that left two children injured on Sunday afternoon in Travis County, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The incident happened just before 4:30 p.m. Sunday, July 14, at FM 812 and FM 973.

EMS said two vehicles were involved in the crash.

One man, believed to be in his 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Two children were transported to Dell Children’s Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.

No further details were released.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
