22-Year-old Maria Canchola Dies in McCann Road Crash Involving Two Vehicles

Longview, Texas (December 2, 2017) – A 22-year-old woman died in a two-vehicle crash on McCann Road on Monday, according to Longview Police Department.
The collision occurred on McCann Road in front of the Longview Mall on Monday, November 27, according to the Longview Police Department.
Police said Maria Canchola, 22, was exiting the mall in her vehicle when she attempted to turn left onto McCann Road and collided with a pickup truck traveling on the road.
Canchola suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital where she was later pronounced dead, as per the report.
There were no further details regarding the crash.
The cause of the fatal crash remains under investigation.
