Juan Manuel Rangel ID’d Man Killed in Laredo Crash at U.S. 83 and Texas 255
Laredo, Texas (June 28, 2019) – Juan Manuel Rangel, 43, of Laredo, has been identified as the man who was killed early Thursday morning in a two-car accident in Laredo.
The deadly accident happened at the intersection of U.S. 83 and Texas 255 Thursday, June 27.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a gray Freightliner truck-tractor hauling a Hyundai trailer was heading westbound on Texas 255 when it ran a red light while crossing U.S. 83 and a red Grand Marquis traveling northbound on U.S. 83 hit the front end of the trailer.
Rangel, who was the driver of the Grand Marquis, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck-tractor was uninjured in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
