One Rushed to Hospital after Hwy 317 Crash near Moody

1 Injured in Highway 317 Multi-Vehicle Crash near Moody

Moody, Texas (November 20, 2017) – A multi-vehicle crash on Highway 317 near Moody left one person hospitalized with serious injuries on Saturday afternoon, according to DPS reports.
The accident happened at about 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 18.
The report said a black vehicle heading southbound on Highway 317, swerved onto the northbound lanes and collided with a white Chevrolet Cruz.
DPS said a driver of silver Nissan that was traveling behind the Chevy veered off the road in order to escape the crash and ended up crashing into a tree.
The driver of the Chevy suffered a broken leg in the crash and had to be pulled from the wrecked vehicle and rushed to hospital.
No further injuries were reported from the incident.
The accident is being investigated by the authorities.
