Collen Skelly Among 2 Killed in New Caney Car Crash on FM 1485

New Caney, Texas (April 1, 2019) – One of the two people killed in a two-vehicle collision in New Caney early Sunday morning has been identified as Collen Skelly, 22, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened shortly after 3 a.m. March 31, on FM 1485 by Lake Houston Wilderness Park.
Police said a white pickup truck swerved into the opposing traffic and collided head-on with an oncoming Camaro.
The Camaro caught fire and was pushed into a ditch by the impact.
A woman in the Camaro died at the scene of the crash.
Skelly was identified as the driver of the truck and was also killed in the collision.
A passenger in the Camaro was hospitalized for his injuries.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
