Tyler, Texas (March 25, 2019) – A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in Smith County late Saturday night, according to the DPS.
The accident happened just before 11:29 p.m. March 23, on Highway 155, just south of Tyler.
DPS said the Tyler woman was hit by a 2009 Toyota Corolla that was traveling northbound on Highway 155.
The victim was was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
