Ryan Nicklaus Sutton Arrested after Plano Crash on Dallas North Tollway near Park Boulevard
Plano, Texas (March 22, 2019) – The suspected drunk driver who caused a traffic accident that injured two people late Wednesday night in Plano has been arrested, according to authorities.
The four-car accident happened at about 11:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 20 on the Dallas North Tollway (DNT) near Windhaven Parkway.
Authorities said the suspect, Ryan Nicklaus Sutton, 29, was driving northbound on the DNT when his Ford Mustang collided with a BMW on the passenger side. The Mustang driver lost control,  spun out and crashed into two other vehicles before coming to a rest.
The driver and a passenger in the BMW sustained major injuries and were transported to Texas Health Plano. The drivers in the other two vehicles hit by the Ford were not seriously injured.
Sutton was arrested and booked in the Collin County Jail with two charges of intoxication assault with a vehicle.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
