Officer Injured in San Antonio Car Crash on Northwest Loop 410 and Roxbury Drive
San Antonio, Texas (February 17, 2019) – An officer was hospitalized early Sunday morning after a traffic accident in San Antonio, a local news source reported.
The wreck happened at about 3:20 a.m. on Northwest Loop 410 and Roxbury Drive.
According to police, officers were clearing up a traffic crash at the intersection when for an unknown reason a car rear-ended a patrol car, pushing it 20 feet.
The officer who was inside the patrol car during the impact was transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
The motorist who struck the patrol car was arrested.
No other details were immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
