Cyclist Killed in Channelview Collision along Interstate 10 near Magnolia

Channelview, Texas (September 23, 2017) – A bicyclist was struck by a hit-and-run driver late Thursday night near Channelview area
The accident occurred at around 11 p.m. Thursday, September 22, along Interstate 10 near Channelview area.
According to Harris County sheriff’s office, the crash happened when a rider was hit by an unidentified vehicle while riding his bicycle on the feeder road in the 6900 block of Interstate 10.
The bicyclist reportedly succumbed to injuries scene while the driver fled the site after the crash.
The identity of the car remained unclear.
No further information regarding the crash and the victim’s identity was immediately available.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the crash.
