One Injured in Smith County Crash on Highway 64

Smith County, Texas (November 17, 2018) – One person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision involving a Tyler ISD school bus on Friday morning in Smith County.
According to the DPS, the wreck happened on Highway 64 on Friday, November 16.
According to DPS, Tyler ISD #25 bus was involved in the crash with at least five cars and an 18-wheeler truck.
No one on the school bus was injured and the students were moved to another bus after the incident.
The driver of the truck was taken to a hospital for treatment. No details were provided on the condition of the victim.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
